Club 31: Les Républicains’ energy project for 2027

On 8 September, NSI held the second morning of its Energy Policy 2027 series, bringing together some thirty executives from across France’s energy industries. The guiding question: how to reconcile energy sovereignty, business competitiveness and household purchasing power?

This session’s guest, Julien Aubert, Vice-President of Les Républicains and an expert on energy issues, presented his party’s main orientations for 2027 and engaged in discussion with participants.

The exchanges covered a wide range of topics: the revival of nuclear power, the role of renewables, the electrification of uses and electricity prices, as well as alternatives to gas, energy efficiency and grid adaptation.

Our view

Following a first session on decarbonisation, this series pursues a clear goal: giving energy players a precise understanding of the projects put forward by the different political families ahead of 2027. An approach at the heart of what we do: decoding public debate and fostering constructive dialogue between businesses and decision-makers.
